"And Life Flows on Within You and Without You"

In which, after an extended break, Arielle returns. She finds herself slightly preoccupied with turning older, but manages to get a nice chunk of drawings done.

Starting back up after an extended break from a program can prove to be difficult....and though I missed Jacksepticeye's Game Jam, I knew I wasn't ready for such a short challenge deadline. Maybe when I've learned more coding. However, I have been trying my best to keep up with "OC-Tober 2025" and while not a perfect record...I've gotten a fair few drawings done. I've also jumped in on the spooky month mini jams, where three spooky prompts are given and we have 20 minutes to come up with some concept art. So, I have plenty of pieces to show.

Admittedly, I've been distracted, for multiple reasons...but probably the most pressing is my upcoming birthday.... on the 12th...when I will be turning 39. Where do the years go? I'll tell you once I figure it out.

Spooky Mystery Mini Jam

The prompts were determined by a Wheel. Once the prompt is done, it's removed from the wheel and another prompt is chosen. We have 20 minutes to complete a conceptual drawing or make headway on an asset. Steps for next week include continuing the art challenge, possibly going back to finish WIP work. I'm sure there's more to talk about and more to consider doing in the next two weeks...but for now, this is ok.

A long time ago...I found this short animation...when I was younger...the teeth freaked me out a lot. As I get older it sings truer and truer...About the creations of artists...and about life. We aren't given rules or a set of complete instructions....sometimes...all we have is the time that is given to us and the care we craft into our work or lives.
