"I Saw the Life Inside of Your Eyes"

In which Arielle has been hyperfixating on both finishing art pieces, as well as listening to a particular song over and over again for the past week. In truth, she had quite the playlist racked up, but some songs just seemed to be on repeat more than others. Grief strikes often and mercilessly. It is definitely affecting Arielle's ability to sleep. She never realized how much Bowie had been part of her nightly routine towards sleep. The amount of people suggesting a new dog triples this week.

It's always the worst coming home after doing something stressful outside of the home, or even something wonderful outside the home. It's the dawning realization as I enter the elevator up to my floor...that what I hope waits for me on the other side of the door...is not there anymore. I enter my home to the sound of deafening silence.

So, I've started singing more...to myself of course...but then I remember how precious an audience he had once been. My throat locks up, and all I can do is hum, if anything at all.

I remember his eyes most of all. Which seems fitting. It was his eyes, what first drew me to him, when I was looking for a dog...now most songs that mention eyes of some sort feel like they were created specifically for him...

At first sight, I felt the energy of sun rays...I saw the life inside of your eyes...

For the past two weeks, I've been going back and forth on a couple different drawings and projects, hoping to get them complete. I got very close to finishing all of the 3 Ending Conditions I've been painting up for Kairi. I'm happy with the two completed, and the final one is nearly done, with just the mother wolf and coloring of all the wolves left to do:

I don't know what it is about the puppy taking a closer look at the ruins of the forest...but I think his expression reminds me of Bowie....

I also made some headway with my design of Nerve, or Minerva Gold...deciding finally to completely re-ink her...and I like the way she's looking now. I'm currently working out the markings she'll have...and considering many outfits as well. The difference from the first drawing to the latest is nuts to look at....

I feel a little lost, not sure what to work on other than what I'm currently working on until finished.....then....well....I don't know...Should I do a fan comic with Nerve as friend Odin suggested? Mayhaps...
